What counts as an eligible project?

An eligible project is any software you built, solo or as a group, that works with its interface in English and carries a test login and password in its description. It may be new or started before the olympiad, and it is entered with a name, a description and a URL; a YouTube video is optional.

The conditions

Interface in English (other languages are welcome; English is required). A test login and password in the description, so the committee can review the whole experience. No shared theme and no required toolchain: the problem and the way you build are yours to choose.

One registration per project, solo or as a group of any size. The registration is in the name of whoever signs up: that person signs in to the platform, receives the prize and shares it as agreed with the group. List everyone in the description so the committee knows who built what.

What has to be ready, and by when

By November 1, 2026, the project's name, description and URL have to be filled in in the member area; only the YouTube link stays optional. Until then you can edit everything; after that the project locks and the committee judges it.

The member area never asks for a password: a one-time code (OTP) arrives by email, and each session lasts seven days. A project started before the olympiad competes normally, and the full rules are in the Terms of Use.

The same project in more than one place

You can enter as many projects as you want, one per registration, each with its own fee. The same project can also compete in the OBVC, the Brazilian sister olympiad, as long as it has an interface in Portuguese: two separate registrations, one in each olympiad.

What hurts: without the English interface or the credentials, the committee cannot test what was promised, and the project loses ground on how it works and on polish. In the University, no proof of enrollment means no score and no refund.

When this matters

You have a half-built project and want to know whether it has to be finished before you register (it does not: the deadline is the submission one).

Your project's interface is in Portuguese or Spanish and you want to know whether you can enter it as it is.

There are three of you and you want to know whose name the registration goes under and who receives the prize.

Our position

Three things: a project that works, an interface in English and, in the description, a test login and password for the committee to sign in. Everything else (theme, tooling, team size, start date) is your call.
